Robert D. Hoag was born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. Robert graduated from Cocoa High School in 1996 and after graduation attended the University of Central Florida, from which he graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
After receiving his undergraduate degree at UCF, Mr. Hoag went on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree in 2006 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Robert spent the first seven years of his legal career gaining invaluable experience by representing the largest insurance companies in serious automobile accident cases.
In 2014 Robert accepted an invitation to join the Donoghue & Associates trial team and now devotes his career to the representation of people injured in automobile accidents and other injury cases. Robert also represents clients in complex cases involving denials of Homeowner’s Insurance Coverage and denials of other insurance benefits.
He is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia and is a member of the Brevard County Bar Association and the prestigious Vassar B. Carlton American Inn of Court.
As a life-long resident of Brevard County, Florida, Robert is very active in his community. Robert is involved in many community events and clubs, including the local Rotary Club.
In addition to being a Rotarian, Robert is a licensed private pilot and is an active member of the Aircraft Owners and Operators Association.
During his high school years, Mr. Hoag was a member of the Florida High School Rodeo Association, where he competed on the High School Rodeo Circuit in Team Roping and Bull Riding. After High School, Robert continued his Rodeo career as a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and participated in Bull Riding competitions throughout the Southeastern Circuit.
